Here I am again this time,
Among elders wondering what’s in their minds.
As the caffeine rolls throughout our veins,
Caressed by the jazz being played.
Front row and center is the way to trance,
Others stroll along and catch a glance.
On the way to Heaven within ourselves,
Receiving sanity, arms on the shelf.
Noticing the diversity of the crowd,
All with reasons for coming around.
They’ll be captured by the scene,
Body locked and can never leave.
The thunder throws us chills,
Throughout our spirits fill.
Wanting and begging to feed us more,
As the Trio brings us back to the floor.
We can’t be left so high too long,
They know their addiction is extremely strong.
Protecting us from our own greed,
They change the strength and the speed.
Different rhythms flow among the tones,
Taking our bodies where the Trio goes.
Life is so simple it’s misunderstood,
We must realize little things are what make it good.
